The Beat Goes On
Renata has wanted a drum set for a while now so she decided to use her gift money from Grandma for that purpose. Thanks Grandma!! I wonder if she has a little bit left over for some earplugs for me!!

Sleeping with the Sharks
Last weekend I chaperoned a busload of Girl Scouts (Talia and Renata included of course) to Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg. One exhibit was like a long tunnel that you walked through and sharks and other marine life species swam around you and over your head! The really cool thing is that we got to sleep in that tunnel! It was awesome!

A Christmas Story 2005
Brought the boy to see Santa last weekend. As we're standing in line, I asked him what was he going to ask for this year from Santa. "Nothing dangerous", but he wouldn't tell me. That evening I wore him down and he told me he asked for a bb gun. "A bb gun.....you'll shoot your eye out, kid!"
Sorry son, I didn't get a bb gun when I was only 6 years old. As a matter of fact, I still don't have one.
