This sunflower is not growing out of Renata's head! She started it in her 3rd grade class around May and it's gotten pretty big. Unfortunately, a recent storm blew it over so it's time to harvest some seeds.
I'm a transplant to Tennessee after 40 years in Michigan. It sure is different here but I don't miss the snow or gray skies of winter. I still have a snow shovel, just in case!
