Marathon Girl
Renata ran in the Country Music Marathon this Saturday. She actually ran the full 26 miles....only 25 of those were spread out over the past month. The kids run the last mile of the course and end up at the football stadium.

Pinewood Derby
Last week was Victor's first Pinewood Derby with his Boy Scout pack. He selected a design, picked out the colors, got help cutting the wood, and then sanded (and sanded and sanded and...) without too much help from Dad. Of course, 90% of this was done the day before the race! The car didn't make it into the finals but I think he was pretty proud that it did as well as it did.

Spring Break
On Tuesday, some neighbors asked if we'd like to join them at a condo in Panama City Beach for the rest of Spring Break! So with less than 24 hours notice I packed the kids up and we headed to sunny Florida. We had a lot of fun playing in the sand and surf and ate some great seafood. The weather was perfect! Unfortunately, John is in the middle of a big project at work and couldn't get away.....especially with such short notice. Maybe next time!
