Locks of Love
Today Talia went to the 'Pink Mullet Salon' and got over 12 inches of her hair cut off to donate to Locks of Love!

Boy Scout Camping
Most recently we went camping with the Boy Scouts. At the cub level the campouts are family campouts. We went to a park very near our home and learned about sinkholes, which is what you see in the photo. There were salamanders, skinks, and snails along with some fun climbing....a natural playground! It rained pretty hard Saturday night, but we managed to stay dry.
Girl Scout Camping
Just hours after the marathon (previous post), we were on our way to Girl Scout Camp. Both Girls were there, but I chaperoned Renata's troop. On Sunday we went rappelling down a 50 foot cliff with a river below us! Much to my amazement I was able to make it down without much difficulty. Renata tried a few times and made it part way down, but her fears got the best of her. She's looking forward to giving it another try!! What a sport!
