Girl Scout Camping
Just hours after the marathon (previous post), we were on our way to Girl Scout Camp. Both Girls were there, but I chaperoned Renata's troop. On Sunday we went rappelling down a 50 foot cliff with a river below us! Much to my amazement I was able to make it down without much difficulty. Renata tried a few times and made it part way down, but her fears got the best of her. She's looking forward to giving it another try!! What a sport!

I would like to chaperone those kinds of trips! We're off to Camp Pinewood next week with the 6th graders and then the following week to Pendalouan with Voyagers!!!
I give Renata lots of credit for even trying to rappel....you'll get it the next time!
